Montes uses first-class bovine leather and chromium-free vegetable tanning in accordance with ethical values. The leathers are carefully cleaned, dehaired, and preserved with salt; then dyed with tannins from oak galls, quebracho, mimosa, and chestnut bark to gain durability, flexibility, and rich color. The leathers are left as natural as possible, brought to a semi-finished state in the tannery, and hand-dyed with natural dyes. It offers a bright, long-lasting surface. Each piece reflects responsible craftsmanship, quality, and timeless elegance.
